This is the first show of our group, Hudson Valley Four. The artists are Jamie Grossman, Daisy dePuthod, Phyllis Tarlow, and Suhua Wood. We have 82 paintings in the show from tiny to enormous.

Our back yard along the brook is too wet to mow this time of year. The sweet Forget-Me-Nots take over there and create an exquisite mass of tiny blue flowers beneath the Purple Martin house. I set up my easel back there this morning and painted with a friend.

I finally stopped packing and purging long enough to paint today! It felt wonderful to be outside again with my brushes, here by the lake. This is the third in my series of upside down boats.
