If you haven't seen the two-DVD set, "The Impressionists", you don't know what you're missing!
I rented it from Netflix and absolutely loved it. It is an enactment of the lives of Monet, Renoir, Manet, Cezanne, Degas, and other Impressionist painters living at that time around Paris. Fascinating and eye-opening!

I so love your sketch book paintings. maybe some day you will make a book. . .
I want to spend 2 weeks traveling around in the special landscape of the North of Norway this summer and combine texts and images, photos and paintings.
I also have a dream about doing the coast to coast walking in Scotland.
writing and sketching along the way.
maybe your sketchbook will be available one day . . . .

Hi Jamie,
Love your work. Love the sketch book journal, purchased one at Borders. Thanks for the great tips.Joan
Trine, thank you so much. Publishing a sketchbook would be great fun. Perhaps someday I’ll publish a compilation from my different sketchbooks.
Joan, I’m glad you were able to find one! This one with the very heavy pages has been discontinued, so I’m hoping to find one or two more at other Borders stores before they are no longer available. My nearest Borders is already out of them.
