Your paintings are wonderful! I am from the Hudson Valley (Cornwall/Newburgh area). Even tho I now live on the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast, I remember the mountains and change of seasons in NY. You've captured in beautifully! Thanks for the lovely views!

Hi Ruth Ann. You have to come down from the top to get to this spot; you cannot climb up alongside the falls. People die trying to do that every year. They had three rescues and a death this year....so far.

The park rangers and DEC don't promote this location nor show it on their maps. It can be pretty dangerous for careless or reckless individuals, though it is quite safe if you're careful, and definitely safer than climbing up from below.

Hi, Jamie....this is great! How do you get to this spot? My husband and I wondered that when we were asked if we went up to the top. I loved the view we had and hope to paint it but now I need to add this to my list for when I get to come back!
